About the event
Planet Aware support running MCS beach surveys as the data collected is important in pushing for change in regard to marine plastic pollution.
We will survey 100m and then do a general clean of the area.
You will be directed to the MCS page to book your place.
Meeting place: Appley tower
Difficulty: Easy
Families/Children: Yes
Toilets: There are toilets near Appley park
You will need:
- Approriate footwear ( boots/trainers- no open toed/canvas shoes)
- Protective gloves/litter pickers if you have them ( we have gloves/litterpickers to borrow)
- Water
- Layers/rain jacket/ sunhat as per the weather
- If you use an epi pen or inhaler you will need to ensure you have it with you
