Marine Conservation Society beach survey with Planet Aware

Come and be a coastal guardian and help survey and clean the beach at Appley, Ryde IOW. The surveys are great for knowing what kinds of litter and amounts we find over a period of time. The MCS use this to push for policy changes such as the plastic bag tax which saw a decline in numbers of bags found littered on the beach.

School groups/community groups and families all welcomed

You will need:

Layers of clothing, sun protection

Gardening/protective gloves and litter pickers but these will be available

Water

Boots or trainers no open toed shoes/sandals
